Occasionally outlook will not launch or hangs on launch.
In this case opening outlook in safe mode, closing outlook, launching normally will correct the error.
To Launch Outlook Safe Mode, hold down ctrl key while clicking outlook icon.
or
Press Windows key + "R"
Then, in the textbox, type "outlook /safe"
Click Run
